Once again Weymouth and Portland’s own locally based artists’ group ‘ARTWEY’ will be exhibiting at Dorset Seafood Festival – “Spirit of the Sea” where traders, caterers and exhibitors gather around Weymouth’s historic harbour and Hope Square during the weekend of 10-11 July.

The decision to move the show looks to be a very good one.
With 3 great shows under their belt the decision to move from the Weymouth Harbour side to Osprey Quay was a difficult one to make for the organisers but with stand bookings up by 50% on 2009 it looks like being the right one.

This excellent and well attended event is coming to Weymouth between the 4th and 6th of June this year and really shouldn’t be missed.
This years headline concerts are by Vin Garbutt at 7.30pm on Friday 4th in Hope Church, Hope Street and The Yetties supported by Two Peas at 7pm on Sunday 6th June at the Sea Cadet Sailing Centre, Barrack Road.

Bonny Babies…With Razor Teeth!

They may not be the obvious choice for centre-stage in a bonny baby event!
There’s no denying the cuteness of the five baby crocodiles newly arrived at Weymouth Sea Life Park however.
They are a litter of Cuvier’s dwarf caimans from a breeding programme at the famous Gerald Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust at Jersey Zoo.
And they make their debut in a specially prepared...
