Weymouth HC host a large Hockey Festival at Easter which brings to the town around 350 hockey player, both male and female. This helps give the tourist season a good start each year as many of the teams stay in beach front and town center hotels.

Weymouth Hockey Club are arguably one of the most successful sporting teams in Weymouth having won the Hockey Association Vase on two occasions in the last ten years.
The 1st team captain, Andy Stiles, has already made his media debut appearing on Wessex FM in the off-season.

Weymouth Hockey Club veteran, Ian Metcalf, has returned home from the Veterans World Cup of Hockey in Hong Kong where he represented England in the over 55’s category with a fabulous gold winners medal which he was proudly showing around the club house on Saturday after the games.
