The decision to move the show looks to be a very good one.
With 3 great shows under their belt the decision to move from the Weymouth Harbour side to Osprey Quay was a difficult one to make for the organisers but with stand bookings up by 50% on 2009 it looks like being the right one.

Portland Ferry
There is an excellent ferry that runs daily, weather permitting, to Portland and back.
The ferry boats are old wooden boats, one of which saw work witht he Americans stationed in Weymouth during the Second World War called My Girl.
Prices are reasonable and usually there’s no need to book but during peak summer time booking becomes more advisable.
